May 27 - Paper Quilling
Paper quilling, also known as paper filigree, is an art form that involves using strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. This technique dates back to the Renaissance when nuns and monks used it to decorate religious objects, but it has since evolved into a modern and accessible craft practiced worldwide.
June 3 - Felting Coasters
Wool felting is a textile art technique that involves matting, condensing, and pressing wool fibers together to create a solid fabric or sculptural forms.


June 10 - Faux Stained Glass
Faux stained glass is an art technique that mimics the look of real stained glass using paint, plastic, or glass surfaces, without the need for cutting or soldering real glass. It’s a fun, accessible, and safe way to create beautiful “stained glass” effects for home decor and crafts.
June 17 - Cross Stitch
Cross stitch is a form of counted-thread embroidery where X-shaped stitches are used to create a picture or pattern on fabric, such as Aida cloth. It’s one of the oldest and most popular needlework techniques.


June 24 - Junk Journals
Junk journals are handmade, artistic journals created from a mix of recycled, repurposed, and found materials. They combine elements of scrapbooking, art journaling, and bookbinding, with a strong emphasis on creativity, storytelling, and personal expression.
July 8 - Basic Jewelry Repair
Is there a piece of jewelry you've been meaning to get fixed that is a little tarnished, needs a new clasp, or just isn't right? Bring it in and learn some basic jewelry repair techniques.


July 15 - Beach Pebble Art
Little pieces of Lake Superior combine to make wonderfully whimsical pieces of hand made art!
July 22 - Driftwood Weaving
Come on in and learn the ins and outs and ups and downs of basic weaving. Go home with a fun little tapestry you've created!


July 29 - Glass Etching
Glass etching is a decorative technique used to create frosted, textured, or patterned designs on the surface of glass. You will make and take home a one of a kind piece of etched decor.
August 12 - Beadwork
Beading is as easy as beads threaded onto a stringing material to create items like necklaces, bracelets, anklets, and decorative items. It’s one of the most beginner-friendly and versatile forms of jewelry craft, used across many cultures and styles.


August 19 - Macrame
Macramé is a textile art created by knotting cords or strings in decorative patterns to form everything from plant hangers and wall hangings to jewelry and handbags. Unlike weaving or knitting, macramé doesn't use needles or hooks—just your hands and a few basic knots.
August 26 - Paint Pour
Paint pouring (also known as acrylic pouring or fluid art) is a painting technique in which fluid acrylic paints are poured onto a surface to create abstract, marbled, or swirled effects.


September 2 - Rock Mandala
Dot painting is an art technique where images and patterns are created using repeated dots of color instead of traditional brush strokes. It is widely known for its connection to Indigenous Australian art, though it is also used in various other cultural and modern decorative styles.
September 9 - Zentangle
Zentangle® art is a meditative drawing method that uses structured patterns to create intricate, abstract designs—one small section at a time. It’s accessible, relaxing, even for beginners. The practice emphasizes focus, mindfulness, and creativity, making it both an art form and a form of meditation.


September 23 - Watercolor

September 30 - Oil Pastels
