Festive Clothespin Wreath

 Lenore Smith is leading this fun and engaging class using everyday materials to create a fun and festive door wreath!

June 2 - Glass Fusing

Sherrie McCabe is leading a class in glass fusing. Come on down and learn some history and science of glass and make a magnet or pendant to take home.

Paper quilling, also known as paper filigree, is an art form that involves using strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. This technique dates back to the Renaissance when nuns and monks used it to decorate religious objects, but it has since evolved into a modern and accessible craft practiced worldwide.

June 30 - Beaded Suncatcher

Cherri will show us how to make a whimsical hanging suncatcher using driftwood and beads

July 14 - Glass Art

Learn how to make a captivating piece of art using beach glass with Kate.

July 21 - Acrylic Painting

Join Tom and learn some acrylic paint techniques. This is a beginner level class. Painting together step by step and you will leave the class with a finished painting only you can create.

July 28 - Wire Wrapping

Darlene will show us how to make a stunning pendant by wrapping beach glass with wire.

August 4 & 11 - Clay Trinket Dish

Learn how to make a beautiful textured clay dish with Tom. August 4th we will make a trinket dish out of clay. After one week of drying time, the class on the following Tuesday we will finish the clay pieces with different acrylic paint techniques.

August 18 - Decoupage with Vicki

Join Vicki as she walks us through the art of decoupage. If you'd like to give new life to an object, decoupage it! Choose decorative paper or thin fabric and cut or tear it. Then use a clear-drying glue to apply the material to your clean surface. Let it dry and cover the entire piece with more glue. You will have a unique piece of art that you created.

September 1 - Driftwood Spinner 

Joan will be showing us how she uses local driftwood and wire to create wonderful hanging spinners good for outdoor or indoor decorating.

September 8 - Rock Dotting

Kate shows us her wonderful technique for creating amazing mandalas. Come on down and create something for yourself or add to Snake Superior the OAC rock art sculpture.

September 22 - Pumpkin Book

Just in time for fall we will gather to make a lovely pumpkin decoration by upcycling books. It would be a great addition to any library shelf or a table centerpiece.

September 29 - Origami

Cyndi shows us how to make folds in paper and end up with a stunning piece of art!
